the Oaxacan artist Evencio Matías.
In his oil painting on canvas, he creates
a lion with a mane of agaves, skillfully representing
the pride of being oneself.
The lion is a majestic animal,
proud to be who it is, just as mezcal has
always been proud to be what it is, although for
many years it was considered a drink exclusive to the
working class of Mexico. Now, it is finally taking its place,
being served worldwide as what it has always
been: a super-premium distilled spirit.

GIVING BACK TO THE EARTH SOME OF WHAT IT GIVES US
The bottle of El León de Agave® is made with recycled glass, at the "La Luz" glass
factory in Puebla. A factory that has shaped the history of the city with its fire,
today produces the bottles of our mezcals in the same way it did 100 years ago,
imbuing its artisanal talent and Mexican lineage.
The vitrocéramic printing is made with organic inks, the pendant is made
of bamboo threads, the cork is natural, and the mezcal is organic.
It is a sustainable project because we are
committed to the land that allows us to believe and grow, to have greater
opportunities, noble land that gives us agave to make mezcal.
In each bottle of Mezcal El León de Agave® the Master Mezcaleros of Oaxaca
express themselves and make themselves present in the world through their mythical mezcal.
